I love this thing!

Overall its a good product. I thought that this would have a web browser by the 3rd edition but I guess not. Anyways its a great product. I love the headphones into the remote capabilities.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: No Screen Mirror, Earphones Sound Skips, No Web browser

DOes what I wanted

We like to use it to watch NetFlix and it works great for that. Con is every time we switch to it from direct tv it makes our direct tv signal fuzzy. So you have to reset the signal. This is ok unless your dvring a show, so then you have to wait for the dvr taping to finish.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Need Reset Dtv After Use

Roku 3 Solved my DirectTv concerns.

I was looking for an alternative to DirectTv and cable. I found it with ROKU. I purchased two ROKU/3 players for our two TV's and was extremely happy when I called DirectTv to cancel. The setup was easy and the variety is extraordinary. Its a real good move.
Pros: Ease of use, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Integrates Audio Easily, Fast Setup, Attractive Design
Cons: Local Tv, NFL, Does Not Improve Audio/Video

Much Better Than Expected

I bought a Roku as my family decided to cut the cord with cable (bye Time Warner!). Of course, there was some nervousness about getting the few shows we enjoy. To my amazement, Roko provides content to just about everything we wanted. Only thing that's conspicuously absent is ESPN - a definate downer. Other than that, Roku allows us to watch only what we want and I'm no longer paying for hundreds of unwanted channels.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Easy to install

I use this product to stream Netflix after my PS3 went bad. It does everything I want it to do: stream Netflix. My router is in the other room and I can still stream perfectly in HD. It's great to be able to use the headphone port on the remote to not disturb others, but audio clipping and general static starts to appear after a while. I have reproduced this problem with at least three headphone sets. The jack isn't accommodating of some headphone ''pins'', so I had to purchase an adapter.
