Used a few times a week. Streaming mostly. Wish the USB thumb drive hook up recognized more video types. but works ok. Easy set up and connecting. Hi def is what it is all about.

STREAMS BETTER THAN PS3

This products was purchased for the specific purpose of streaming Netflix. I have a PS3 but when streaming the picture would freeze repeatedly and I believed it to be a Netflix issue. I found that I would occasionally get "kicked off" PS3 and have to sign in again. That is tedious and a nuisance while trying to watch something. After purchasing the Roku3 I am pleasantly surprised and grateful that I don't have any freezing issues and any other issues for that matter. I have been using this product for about 1 month and so far so good. I'd recommend this product to anyone. The small size is wonderful as it will fit almost anywhere and not be totally visible or distracting.

This device is great to watch American TV shows in English and not dubbed. You will need an European power device (from an electronic department store)and google for more instruction how to watch US TV in Europe.

The roku is small and inconspicuous. I also like the easy set up and navigation. The only thing i wioud want to change is the content. A large quantity of channels are just old movies or manga. I have cancelled my netflix account since they recently dumped a ton of great content. I do use hulu plus which doesnt have a lot of newer stuff either. If there was access to networks or web search to find networks that would be awesome. Also syfy is one of my fav channels, but they have next to no content on their aps so i cant watch that either.

No You Tube

Bought for my office and found it very easy to set up, streamed perfectly and the interface was very responsive. However, when I discovered no You Tube, I returned it. How can you be a serious streaming device sans You Tube? Even though I returned it, I gave it four stars because if you do not share my You Tube view you will not be disappointed with a Roku 3.

Cons: No You Tube

It's been more than a decade since I last bought a TV. I don't like most shows or sports, and in general, hate the idea of passive-viewing entertainment. But life circumstances (moving in w/ my GF) have forced me to buy a big screen, and Roku has turned our TV into a source of entertainment for the home.
