Not Roku's Fault!

I had issued getting the Roku to connect to the internet, however I don't believe Roku is to blame. I think my internet provider (which will remain nameless) is very slow and are to blame for my problems getting the access code to complete the initial install. Once I got it connected it was smooth sailing! I love my Roku3...so much that I purchased 2 - Roku LT's for my daughters rooms the next day. This little Roku3 is making big changes in our lives, saying good-bye to our monthly cable bill and going all Roku! ....and HD Antenna for local news and such. Thank You Roku!! Lauren

I would not leave Roku plugged in as it would still be pinging my router. If you have an access program in the back ground, you could be sending out stuff through my router. It would be nice it the TV sound still worked along with ear buds, so that my partner could watch a movie with me. I only use it for Netflix, since other programs have too many commercials.

Cons: Don't Leave Plugged In, No on-off switch, Too many commercials, No Tv Sound With Ear Buds

Perfect Solution

I love this device. I've been looking for a simple yet powerful solution to stream videos from my pc to my TV and play Netflix and this works perfect.

So much better than satellite

My wife decided over $100 a month was too much for TV. We bought a Roku 3 with the idea to give a "cut the cord lifestyle" a trial run. Set up couldnt have been easier, and within an hour we were very pleased with the result. I called the satellite company 2 days later to cancel. When they asked why I was cancelling me service (after 6 years, I told them, "I don't need you anymore, Ive got a Roku". My TV now costs me $16 A MONTH instead of $100. A month later and I have no regrets. Thanks Roku.

I use it for movies and to watch my videos and view images from my phone to the TV. Kids love playing the ANGRY BIRDS games that are on the device. So far, a home run.

would like to see additional app on there like HBO GO, ADD YOUTUBE. bought it for that reason. almost returned it because of that.
