Hard to search for movies not already sponsored on Roku device.

I really needed something to get me away from the expensive cable company and not get into contracts with the satellite companies. The Roku 3 was the perfect choice for me. I went straight for the 3 due to the fact that I believe products get better as they progress. I liked the idea of the headset. I can hear my shows while everyone else is doing their own thing, and I won't miss a beat. I really liked the UI of the Roku 3. It is so easy even my 3 year old can use it. I can't really say anything bad about the product. I've only used it for a little over a month, and so far its great. Most of the channels that are available aren't too great for me. The main purpose for getting the Roku 3 was to get into Hulu and Netflix since my TV isn't a SmartTV. Plus the free Angry Birds Space keeps my kids entertained.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Doesn't power off

I use this at home hooked up to my big screen. I do wish that it were easier to browse Netflix, it is a real hassle to know what you want to watch and then search for it.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup
Cons: Need more channels

Great Streaming & Many Options

We watch mostly Netflix and listen to Pandora. This device provides excellent streaming and takes up little space. The only thing that was less than satisfying was the hour and a half it took to set it up with Roku.com online-But that was the engineering department and the Technical writer's fault. Some important info was missing in the setup literature. . .
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: Difficult setup

Very good Product,performs as expected. Only 2 issues would be is that I would like to control the TV with the Ruko remote and would also like the remote to have a power button to turn the device off. Would of been a 5 start if it had those other things. Also would be nice to have another video out to run to a second TV in another room.

Cons: No power button, No Tv Control, No Second Output

It is so easy to set up even for someone who can't make a DVD player work (me). Both Rokus are far from the modum and have no connection problems...they work much better than the blu-ray players we used to use for streaming. The remote works great--better than the one for our TV.

The at the home screen will occasionally not properly respond to the remote control. It will scroll left-right, but nothing else. I then have to reboot the device. I'm not sure if this device makes sense anymore for most users now that the Chromecast is on the market.
Pros: Faster Search
Cons: Occasionally needs reboot
