Remote control cannot be turned off--it eats batteries! Also, I have to unplug it and plug it in again to reset the system often, but overall I do like the product.

So roku 3, I was dying to buy one so I decided why not, when I first held it I was a bit impressed, it is a good looking product, and when I started it up it was very fast, I downloaded al the apps I could think of and started watching. I was disappointed that there is no dedicated YouTube app but it is easily fixed with twonky an app I highly recommend. And i was dissappointed with the lack of some live television like news or sports and no NFL channel. Other that it is a good product, it got me to actually rent some movies which I think could possibly be cheaper maybe a dollar or two, yes three dollars just seems somewhat expensive for 24 hours when I could go to redbox for cheaper and it was sad to found out that you have to have a cable subscription for HBO GO but because of that I mostly just use netflix and amazon, which bringse to my final point, unless you have multiple people watching a show or you have a nice tv at the end of your bed, or people in the living room who love movies I wouldn't recommend it, I'm the one person in my house who enjoys "TV" I will say I love to use the headphone jack in the remote, a wonderful invention, but it could be easier for me to just lay in bed with smartphone, gameing handheld, or tablet and have the same features and maybe more, with the rokus cheap price it's a good product, but get it if your not just going to watch stuff by yourself, unless you don't have any other way to watch movies.

I play my ROKU 24/7. I canceled all my cable channels (HBO etc..) because I have more variety with the ROKU. Great for my grandkids to watch and easy for them to use. I found that when I plug my headphones into the ROKU remote the quality of sound is good but it is in and out at times.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video

Cheapest way to see SouthAsian channels

* We use it as sole entertainment access medium for the whole family. We have subscribed to dishworld and truly enjoy the vast selection of southasian channels. * Kids love to play angry bird on it. Having more selection of games would be great for kids.
