I have time warner cable, Roku has a TWC APP so this box acts as a wireless box for my television.... allows me to stream cable channels as well as Roku channels
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Acts As A Twc Box

This is one outstanding video tool, I was up and running in just over half an hour. I use it manly to look at video stations, Netflex, amazon and Hula. Very easy to navigate with the all in one remote. A lot more video chooses then Apple TV.

We use the product to connect to Netflix and Amazon. I have the new model as well as the older one. They both seem to randomly loose WIFI connectivity and at times the whole underlying OS gets stuck requiring a reboot via power off/on. We like the device but would like it to be more robust

It's Awesome But For One Missing Item

I love my Roku 3! I use it frequently. The apps I use the most are, in no particular order: Crunchyroll, MLB.tv, Amazon player, Netflix, PBS, and NHL (in season). The controls are incredibly simple. The cons of the Roku 3 are no Youtube player, many of the apps for non-subscription services don't have much good content, and the controls/options in the Roku apps aren't as useful as their web page counterparts; i.e. on MLB.tv I can only watch 1 game at a time whereas with the web app I can have multiple games showing in split screen.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls

I LOVE ROKU AND HAVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 6 YEARS AND OWN 4 BOXES, THE ROKU THREE'S ONLY DIFFERENCE FROM ROKU TWO IS THE REMOTE. UNLESS YOU'RE A GAMER SAVE YOUR $$$$$ AND STAY WITH ROKU TWO

Cons: Controld More For Gamming, The Remote Is Not As Good, Does Not Improve Audio/Video
