Outside of the freezing that will occur we love our Roku. This is our 2nd one, we had a 2 as well!

New Design Less Stable Than Last

The new Roku 3 works ok but does not seem as stable as the previous Roku 2. Under the exact same conditions, the new Roku 3 has more wireless issues such as having to some times reboot the device to reconnect the Roku to the Internet. Also, some times having to press the remote control button more than once to get the Roku screen to respond. Also, the new Roku creates its own wireless hot spot to communicate to the remote control with and uses the same wifi channel as the Roku connects to the wireless router with.. this may be causing wireless interfernces and/or reducing the wireless router security.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Has Wireless Issues
