The Roku 3 was a purchase I made after spending several days debating on whether or not the 3 was that much better than the 2XS. I couldn't be more pleased in the improvements over the XS! It's faster. It's sleeker. It is so far improved over the previous models that my debate was not worth seconds, let alone minutes of thinking it through.

Overall I good product. However u dont get full programming from cable channels (ex. SyFy) only snippets of programs. Also no local stations. Fix this and u have an EXCELLENT product.

The best small gadget that streams fast and does not stop in the middle of the movie, i have used another brand that is just a waste. I have just started a movie and its streaming for a lonnng time! Roku is FAST and EASY. And love the headset access on the remote!

Great streaming player but lacks DLNA

This is a very simple yet powerful device. It lacks DLNA support. Most users wants the capability to connect to their NAS or share folders to stream their own movies such what Netgear and WD boxes are able too. Do not know why they did not add this feature but it is probably a limitation of their design. If ROKU could prove me wrong with a firmware update that will be great and for the rest of us!!
