Great Product Quick & Easy To Use

Very good product, would purchase again. Confusing set-up if you don't want to give your credit card number during on line connection. Roku should give an on line option to bypass credit card info. Miss not having Youtube.....

You need to get Showtime, Starz and Cinemax on board. Perhaps a web browser so you can easily access the free content on the Internet.

I have been looking for an easy way to view Amazon Prime, HBO Go, and other web-based/web-accessed content on my HD television. This little Roku device is perfect for my needs. It takes up very little space, connects to my WiFi, and gives me quick and easy access to all the content I want. It was extremely easy to sync it with my Amazon Prime membership and my Cable account (so that I could access HBO GO). I am also impressed with the variety of free content from all over the world.
Pros: Fast Setup, Wide Variety of Content, Simple Controls, Works With Hbo Go, Works With Amazon Prime, Plenty Of Hd Content, Personal Earbuds
Cons: Requires Hdmi Cable

So Far, So Good

So far I am enjoying using Roku to see some of my favorite channels. Hulu Plus works very well on the Roku. I had some resevations about the video quality since I only have the medium data rate sevice from AT&T, but the streaming and quality have been fine. I have to say that I am not all that impressed with some of the other video channels that the Roku supports. Hulu Plus and NetFlix are the best video providers by far. Setting up the Roku was simple and easy. I am not so sure that I like the always on feature of the Roku however. I will reserve my final decision for when I receive my next electric bill. The only other thing I have an issue with is that there has been a few times that the Roku did not recognize my TV and I received an error message saying that my device was not authorized and the video was blocked although I could here the soundtrack of the video I was trying to watch. Perhaps this is just a bug in the software and will eventually be fixed.
