Lots of apps

I like the apps and streaming has been smooth so far. My lower rating has to do with the set up problems I had when I first purchased the roku. I was supposed to generate a code from the roku to connect with my internet network and it would say over and over there was a network problem and that I should check my internet connections. I undid and redid my internet connections, reset the roku multiple times to no luck. After over 4 hours working on this problem I went online to the Q&A sites about roku and finally found one idea that might work. Someone else had a similar problem and it turned out the Roku system was down. I turned off my system, went to bed because it was either that or I was returning the device. What do you know, the next morning everything was fine, the code appeared and I've been able to use Roku ever since. This was not a Q&A site hosted by Roku. So the device works, but the communication by the company is horrid.

This is a great product, works flawlessly and is simple to set up. Navigation is easy and fast, picture quality is outstanding. This is truly a game changing product. It makes watching internet video fast and fun, eliminating all the distractions that now plague almost every website.

I bought Roku3 a month ago. My smart TV kept shutting down when I played Netflix for some reason. So I bought Roku3 to see if the problem persist. Never had the problem again. The applications are so much faster with roku3 and there are so many selections to choose from. It was really worth the money. My sons love it also, and took over my T.V. so I'm buying them their own for Christmas :-D

Love the speed

Navigating menus is much faster than doing so with any of my Samsung smart TVs or any of my "smart" blu-ray players. What I love most is how fast it can pause Netflix, scan forward or backward, then resume the stream at the new location within a second or two. This is a huge benefit over my current devices.

Bought two for the home and another for my 70+ year old parents. We love the content and the ability to stream Netflix and Hulu. My parents enjoy watching the cultural content. The kids like the games. Something for everyone.

We bought the Roku3 because we were having such trouble streaming through a Sony BluRay player and our streaming choices were so limited. Setup was so easy. Had a small glitch in the process due to our particular TV, but had a super experience with Roku Support. They immediately knew what the issue was and walked me through the steps to fix it. It works beautifully!
