I just love it--easy to set up and there are always new channels. I can watch German news! PBS! HBO go! Netflix! It is superior to any DVR.

We don't pay for channels we don't watch anymore that came with our cable package. Now we have just our local stations and pay for Netflix, Amazon & Huluplus. Even paying for these, we come out cheaper than paying for the cable package we had. We watch what we want to want, when we want to watch it. We love it!

Roku is a great product & would recommend it, especially to catch up on movies. BUT there are so many very weird channels and very few of them seem worth the effort of cruising - you need to like strange TV to watch some of that stuff. There just isn't very much mainstream tv shows or other quality entertainment worth it on all those many channels. We still get more use out of Netflix. We only have Internet access, so cannot view any local news. Would be nice if other cable companies besides just Time Warner were available.

All family members can find something they want to see. Flexible, compact, and MOBILE! We take it with us on vacations!! 3Mbps is a fast enough connection for buffer free transmission.
