Roku works. That is the bottom line. It is a great WiFi connector. Amazing! I love the Nintendo Wii style controller and other older counsel video game formats on the screen images such as the PS2 load bar to make the interface more engaging. Keep up the great work! One suggestion. Maybe a channel for home movies that your subscribers could send from their computers, ipads, laptops, DVD's etc.to be shown on that independent home movie channel.

I really like the Roku 3 but it would be perfect if I could stream movies from my iPhone to the Roku.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video

The product gets better and better. We use it daily for Netflix, PBS, Smithsonian, and even streaming home movies, YouTube and music via Plex on Linux.

Roku + Netflix + Plex = A GREAT little box to connect to your TV. I've got just about everything I want with just these three pieces. The advances over the original Roku are phenomenal.

Utterly small and powerful device

I have been using this utterly small device everyday for the past 6 months. I use it watch paid channel, Netflix, Amazon Video and use it for almost 4-6 hrs depending on the day of the week. PROS: - Extremely small - Very easy installation and setup. - Its remote is exceptional. The remote worked even from another room, a good 15ft with walls in between CONS: - Heats up quite a bit - Gets hung from time to time. I didnt have this problem initially but off late it just goes blank. I have to power cycle the device for it to come back on. This is the only flaw which is really frustrating Also the speed that shows up on the device remains at 2Mbps or less even though I have a 25Mbps connection. Not sure if this is a device limitation, I need to check the device specs for that. All in all its a good device which incorporates various channels which my Bluray player did not.

I have used Roku for a while now and Roku 3 is the best one I have tried. I have never had it to freeze up on me , I LOVE the ear buds that came with the remote. This was one of the main reasons why I purchased it. I love the fact my husband can watch tv and not disturb me while I am reading. It works better than my other Roku's. I love it and will get another if one of my other Roku's go out.

I needed a device that could stream TV, have closed caption (for late night viewing) and the audio jack is a great and welcome extra.
