I purchased the Roku because I wanted to stream the Hope Channel. It didn't stream properly at first but contacting Roku support and the Hope Channel has resulted in it working as promised. I'm pleased now.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design

This is a great product. I use it to stream Netflix and Amazon video. On Hulu Plus I watch TV shows that I have missed. The channel selection is great. I subscribe to HBO on the TV but cannot always watch a show at the original air time. With HBO Go, I can watch the show at anytime. The ability to attach headphones directly to the remote, means I can watch a program while another family member might need quiet.

The Best Streaming Device Available

My family uses this device everyday. We use it more than our cable box for watching shows and movies. My only request would be if, out of the box, it could play more media formats via the USB besides MKV and MP4. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

Remote's okay

Primarily use it to watch movies using remote with ear phones. When the remote's batteries expire during the middle of a movie, there is no way to stop the streaming movie. When this happens the buttons on the remote do nothing to stop the movie or show. I need to unplug the wired internet connection, pair the remote, and, hopefully be able to resume playing the movie from the point where it stopped. If not, then the movie needs to be restarted from the beginning. Perhaps one way to solve this is by using a longer lasting lithium-ion battery.

hello guys...i love my roku!!!! i would like to see more international tv channels also some adult content..but basically more live tv streaming from all over the world....too many evangelical channels, way too much. you should also post other religions from all over the world. i use it basically for USTVNOW, they are the best!!!! roku plus ustvnow THE BESTTTTT!!!!!

Great Product but Needs More Engineering

This needs a little more engineering to push to a 5-star rated product - only concern I have is that the product reboots by itself and I guess it is after the memory chokes as "channel apps" corrupt it or something like that. Would love to have a power button to turn it off completely at night and not worry about someone hacking it.
