Great Player but Could Improve

Great product, previous user of Apple TV and enjoy this better. More user friendly, easy to add additional stations. Great search tool which looks at all available networks for a movie or show. I like where when buffering the picture does not go blurry but instead blanks and shows a loading bar. Net-flicks seems to access quicker.
Pros: Many Applications
Cons: Remote Battery Killer

This version of Roku was recommended by a friend. I am NOT disappointed. WIFI works GREAT. Everything works great. Can't think of anything negative to write about it. I'd buy it again. I'd recommend it too.
Pros: Simple Controls, Ear Buds On Remote, Attractive Design

It took some time before we could find a server that could provide enough internet speed. But, it was worth all the time and effort!!

hooked up really fast and easy to navigate, love that you don't have to be right in front of it to use the controller! only improvement I can think of right now would be to add volume controls on the controller

Excellent low power device. It is also light and small for portability but additional ports for other connectors would make it more versatile. The ability to download vudu to a USB drive or external hard drive would cut own on streaming usage (like the WD live does). It can also get a bit hot resulting in loss of sound that requires a reboot, so a power button would be nice. Huge selection of channels!

Cons: Occasional crashes, No Rca Connection, Sound Sometimes Goes Out, No power button, Lack Of Key Boardkeypad

I got it mainly because my Samsung Smart TV would not stream MLB.TV properly. I read a blog that claimed the Roku3 was the only device that streamed MLB.TV perfectly (Samsung, PS3, XBOX....NOPE!). I can concur wholeheartedly. Bonus that it does Netflix and Pandora too! I watch everything but my DVD's through the Roku. Well done.

Along with the New Aereo channel I use my Roku for live tv reception along with Net Flix and & Hulu+. With the Plex Media server I am able to access my quite large library of music and movies streamed flawlessly to my Home Theatre system.
