no longer tied to cable and its neverending reality programs and repeats, makes better use of my television, terrific channel selection, installation and operation unbelievably simple, if i can do it, anyone can, makes the television experience fun and interesting

I love this product. It is so small & compact and produces amazing image quality. There are do many channels, I have not been able to get through them all. It is so portable as well that I sometimes travel with it to get my favorite channels wherever I go. Definitely a good investment.

Needs reliability improvement

We've experienced massive reliability issues with the Roku 3 that makes us want to go back to using the Roku 2 XD instead. Unplugging the Roku 3 is required on a daily basis to keep the unit from freezing up, or to make the unit launch apps such as Netflix and Amazon reliably. The Roku 2 XD was next to flawless.
Cons: Requires Restart Daily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Roku 3s!

I have 3 and likely will get more. Best combination of online (Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, Hulu) and Plex Media for all my ripped media.
