I bought this to get rid of cable, but my wife doesn't want to learn something different. She likes the cable "lineup" options with info.
Pros: Clearconcise Menu Option, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Not enough free channels

I use it to watch Netflix and My own video library with the Plex App. This is the best Investment I made in years, I simple love it. I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

My USB port quit working

My USB port quit working. Phone support very helpful and all but after spending several weekends on it they concluded I need a new unit -surprise, the warranty just expired so I paid $20 for an extended warranty.

Cons: It Only Has A 90 Day Warr, My Usb Quit Working

Really Handy

Use to catch up on programs or episodes. Tap into Netflix and Hulu and discovered some other cool channels. Indie Films. Great quality broadcast. Would like to be able to turn the thing off and not have to unplug it. Unit, though very small, tends to heat up.

Overall the ROKU 3 works the same as any of the other ROKU models. More than anything, I bought this because of the wireless headset feature. Don't get me wrong, it works ok but the sound crackles and occasionally drops out even after new batteries are put in the remote. I found the poor wireless sound quality odd especially since the headphones plug directly into the remote and the TV is less than 30 feet from the chair. I'd be more likely to recommend someone get a stand alone wireless headphone that works with anything viewed on the TV.

Cons: Sound Quality On Wireless

I use this as my primary televison service on multiple televisions. I love that it has the ablitiy to connect to my wired internet to reach higher speeds. My only complaint can only really be fixed by netflix (it doesn't play programs continuously when on the netflix app).
