Very easy to use. It made cutting cable easy. My father who is 72 Yrs. old was able to use it the first day.

Some channels have too many commercials, and replay same commercial 2 to 3 times, and every 10 mins.

I have a Vudu account and Roku 3 does not play all movies in surround sound only in stereo and it doesn't sound very good in stereo only compaired to surround sound. Is roku working on this problem because I have about 200 movies in Vudu and because of that I hardly use my Roku 3 anymore.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Very Fast Response Time, Fast Setup
Cons: Will Not Play All Movies

I use it to stream old programs and movies to my TV. Once setup, use is very simple. You need access to a network and a USB power source. Also, only outputs HDMI. If you have an older TV, you will probably need to purchase an HDMI to composite converter to hook to your TV, like I did.
Pros: Works Great, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Need Usb Power Source, Only Has Hdmi Output, Difficult setup

I owned a first or second generation Roku and never had any issues. I had it for years trouble free. My daughter had a newer generation one, when it recently died I gave her my old ones and was excited to get a ROKU 3. When it functions I like the image clarity and subtitle options. The problem is it drops my wireless signal almost every day causing me to go to set up ever time I want to access. This wont be as easy for my wife being less techinal. In addition, last week I can't get a video feed. I can hear the audio but the screen message is "HDCP Unauthorized Content disabled" Looking on line I see this may be a problem with HDMI signal bounce. It was functioning and now it's not. I was able to access my online content with no issues through my PS3. Now I have to screw around and start pulling and replacing cables in hopes of resolving this known issue. So far, I'm not impressed. With the large number or machines that access on line content, I would have expected more from Roku. I went into this new device as a complete Roku advocate, I've given 3 of them as gifts.

Cons: Hdmi Cable Connection, Drops Wireless Signals

The only thing I would add is a subscription to football like what is offered through MLB.
