Slick device for streaming media

We find our little Roku 3 to be very handy and easy to use. The kids love it and we have set up our exercise videos on a USB drive we plugged into the unit. It would be nice if we could stream them from our NAS using DLNA, but that is not supported.
Pros: Can View Personal Videos, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design

I purchased my Roku 3, and the next month returned my cable television box I have been renting for years. After adding up the montly rental charges paid over those years, I realized replacing the cable box with the Roku 3 will save me hundreds of dollars a year. Who needs cable television when one can select what they wish to watch from "providers" world wide. I am particularly fond of watching shows from the UK and Austrialia.

I am so impressed with this thing I tell everyone about it. WE were paying over 100,00 a month for direct TV, we had been with them 15 years and they did not try to even keep us when I said we were going to internet TV. We pay less than 20.00 a month for shows we can watch. There was so much junk on Direct TV we couldn't find anything to watch anymore.

bought a smart tv and it kept buffering all the time. Returned the tv and got a regular one and ordered the roku and works great. I wish they had an internet app though. only downside. thinking about getting one to replace the xbox in the other room because it buffers every once in a while but might look at something that has an internet app
