Best investment I've made

I have purchased 3 of these and my family is more than happy to have them. One for the family room, one fore the kids' playroom, and one for the wife and I to enjoy in the bedroom. We love the selection of channels and services available. I am an IT professional and these devices deliver without building a custom system to do the same job. Well worth the investment and the family enjoys using them. If your'e looking to cut the cord from big service providers for satellite and cable this is definitely the way to go. The savings alone for services on Roku compared to big service providers will save you a lot of money. I am already saving $500/yr by switching to all internet streaming services with the Roku 3! Great product overall.

Faster than my Blue Ray Player!!

I love having the ROKU 3. I definitely want one with every TV because it is nice having access to everything. It is tiny and has both ethernet and wireless options. It has a search feature that searches all your channels for what you are looking for. Doesn't have iTunes so I still need an Apple TV which is more equipment. Will be buying more devices and spreading the word!

I love my roku 2&3. I have had them for a while now and I like knowing I can watch my stuff where ever I go with no hassles. So far I don't see much difference in the 3 from the 2 besides body controller and strictly hdmi. Which I'd ur in a hotel with an older tv it won't really be all that useful . Game wise i don't know yet till there are more games to play an use everything it has.. But all in all I love it as long as you have decent -great wifi it's a wonderful thing to have an would love to see more features maybe a remote with slide out or built in keypad for easier typing.

Being a techie illiterate I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of installation. My primary use is watching movies etc. from Netflix. I am just overjoyed that I didn't invest a day in my life for installation.

Great Product for what it is advertised to do which is High Def Streaming. The remote is SOLID - which is to say it feels good in the hand and is very responsive when pressing buttons. The Headphone jack for private listening is a nice touch. That said, I wish they had allowed for USB port for Hard drive to play movies.

Remote control is lacking

I really love this product; HOWEVER, anytime the headphones are plugged into the remote control-- the sound quality is greatly deminished. The sound consistently breaks up and makes it difficult to hear. Also, the batteries seem to drain very easily. I have had to change my batteries three times in the short time I have had it. Unless my specific remote is defective, these are great flaws in the design. I had planned to buy two more boxes, but based on the remote control issues-- I am now reconsidering.
