We bought it primarily to watch Netflix... but it has turned into our main music player via our iphones as well. Love the iphone app as a remote - the keyboard makes searches much better.

Roku 3, a little problem

My ROKU 3 has a headphone attachment on the controller, so you can watch without disturbing others. It will work for a little while then stop working. You then have to take the batteries out and reinstall in order to get controller working again. NOT GOOD since that's the whole reason for buying a 3rd ROKU!

Cons: Poor Design

Love this Player. Love the fact that you can plug headphones into remote. Ultra fast streaming and a crystal clear HD picture.

Love the new search feature

I love the new search function! The only issue I have with the Roku 3 is that I have to reboot it at least once a week. If I don't reboot it, the opening screen gets difficult to navigate (the movement is jerky instead of a smooth transition) and sometimes goes really slow when moving from one icon to another. At least the reboot is quick, and once the system is rebooted, everything works fine.

We do Love the Roku Box 3 It took us awhile to get used to it. We Love to watch older TV series that we missed years ago and not so long ago. We Love Netflix which is set up perfect with a low cost to watch Commercial Free. Some Free channels say Free but are still only by require a fee to watch. Some Free channels have repeating advertisements and too often really destroys the program we don't watch those channels at all.
Pros: Fast Setup, Not Bulky Easy To Conceal, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Some Commercial Channels
