State of the art video streamer!

Ever since I bought my ROKU 3, I haven't touched my Apple TV. The ROKU 3 offers more streaming choices and superior interfaces. One drawback is the ROKU doesn't connect with YouTube. That needs to be addressed!
Pros: Thanks For The Usb Port, Attractive Design, Free Media Player App, Smooth Hd Streaming, Simple Controls, Better Netflix Interface, Fast Setup, Love The Headphone Jack, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: Needs Periodic Re-boot

We really enjoy watching the programs we want when we want. So much better watching seasons in sequence or just getting caught up to the current season. We have found shows we would never have watched on regular tv. The movies are icing on the cake!

Revolutionized our TV watching

We have Netflix and Amazon Prime. We were already streaming Netflix using a Blu-Ray player, but the Roku is far superior for the following reasons: * content loads in 1-2 seconds versus up to a minute on the Blu-Ray player; * content pretty much always runs in HD (due to the caching and better hardware I guess); * screens for picking channels, searching, and picking shows are very fast compared to the Blu-Ray's Netflix interface. Very occasionally I've had to restart it (unplug) due to freezing - probably 3 times in 6 months. Great product; looks good, works well.

Great compact streaming box

This is my second Roku box and it is much improved over the last one I had. I also have Direct TV and I find I still use Roku a lot. Netflix is the service I like and use most. I would certainly recommend this as a back-up to your present tv source.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Very Reliable Connection

I can't stress how great plugging headphones into the remote is. We live in a loft, my wife loves to sleep and I love movies. It's really a huge help. For $100 it's really unbeatable. It takes two seconds to set up, the controls are natural, the search function is fantastic. I love the search function. No need to run to IMDB, just type in a name and you get a quick list. So great. Love it.

I think it is great to use when you do not want to disturb anyone - the headphone jack allows for quiet watching. On the minus side, I was really wanting to cut down on cable costs, but this is really not the proper device. I can use my smart TV or my gaming consoles, plus Wi-Fi Blue Rays for the same reason.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Headphone Jack
Cons: Subscription Set Ups Not, No Subscription Rates, Difficult setup
