I have this set up on my bedroom TV to watch my Netflix, Hulu, and listen to Pandora when I am getting ready in the morning or studying. I like how easy it is to use and set up. It was a gift from a friend and i have to admit it was one of the best gifts i could have gotten.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design

After comparing set top boxes this was the winner and I am glad I bought it. To really use this you will need at least one paid subscription (netflix, prime, hulu)or you will need to pay per view. VEVO music videos and television rocks! I strongly suggest this product. Stop readin this review and go buy one! Oh, and remember you will need a credit card for activation.

I liked the free channels and the headset was great for when my wife wanted to read. However, I returned the system for an Apple t.v. (it has YouTube but no headphones). I also purchased a Roku 2 for my other "older" t.v. because it has rgb hookups.

We use the Roku on a second screen, used for both internet streaming and local media. It plays internet video flawlessly and local media works 90% of the time (via Plex).
Pros: Simple Controls, Simple interface, Lots of channels, Remote Headphone Jack, Attractive Design, Plays Most Local Media
Cons: Plex Sometimes Struggles, No Netflix Auto Play

We love the Roku and its convenience. Some content is not available yet, but between Amazon Instant Video, Netflix and Hulu Plus, we can watch 90% of the shows we like without any additional fees.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Doesn't Stream Everything
