This beat our Blu-Ray player connection hands down. Easy set-up, fast connection, small footprint. Couldn't ask for more.

I will not lie, I was a bit skeptical at first when reading about the ROKU. After purchasing and installing it (which was a breeze), my regret was that I did not purchase this years ago. The video quality from streaming is remarkable. Also, the options to use the earphones makes it very convenient when you have guests sleeping in your house. I love my ROKU

While I wouldn't say it is a substitute to cable (mainly b/c I am a huge sports fan), this does offer a great selection of apps for TV shows and movies. I stream Netflix, HBOGo, Pandora, as well as others. Speed is great and setup is very easy. The remote does not need a direct line of sight which I love.

Between Netflix, Amazon, Crackle, and Plex, I have access to any and all content I need. I love the response time of the UI, and the headphone jack in the remote is a nice bonus.

The product is so easy to use right off - the simple remote control is also quite a good thing though it would be nice if the remote had an off switch so the batteries lasted longer
