I requested this device as a birthday gift. I saw it in action at my father's house and loved it. It was fun playing Angry Birds on a big screen TV. It is very easy to use. I also subscribe to Netflix and I enjoy the improve graphics because of the HDMI connectivity (HD movie experience)

This is the first media box I've ever bought, I bought it because I really wanted to hear NetFlix over headphones, so when I saw that the remote had a headphone jack I was sold. And now that I've gotten to know my Roku3 even better I'm more than glad that this is my first Media Box, although I haven't yet found out how to access YouTube through it yet.

I used LG blu-ray net ready players for a few years and then moved. The players were stolen, but I took a chance on the Roku 3 by sheer impulse. I love it. I don't buy software anymore and still have to find a unit to play my SACD stuff but the trade off in having so much science, PBS, sitcom, you name it, at my fingertips is hard to beat. I finally talked my wife into giving up cmmercial television and am outfitting the house with fast internet and will stream everything. If the networks keep their prices reasonable this will be a good investment and definitely a step forward toward the future of entertainment. You Tube is missed. Hopefully they'll get on the wagon soon. BTW I'm 66 and a pro (videogame AD). I know of what I speak. Get one. Thanks.

I use this to access hulu and Netflix. I especially like that I can connect my external hard drive for my own movies/tv/music/etc....not sure why I can't watch files with a .avi extension though?!?!
