This is an excellant product, getting Hindi Channels in US without any inturreptions, we use almost like 8 to 9 hours watching Hindi Serials and Movies, eight day back up feature makes it wonderfull as there's no chance to miss any of your favourite program. One improvement can be done by adding more Hindi Channels to this package
Pros: Fast And Furries, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup
Cons: Getting Addicted

Great Addition to my Home Theater!!!

Purchased the Roku a few months ago. I had it hooked up in my bedroom using computer speakers for sound. The sound was great, but then I hooked it up to my Theater system and I was very impressed with the sound quality. The Roku streams Netflix very well with almost no buffering, unlike my PS3 at times. Eventually, I will put a Roku on every tv in my house, but this little box is so small and simple to connect it really isn't a problem with moving it from room to room.
I bought this player with the hopes of it doing much more than it does. It is very good at playing movies on Netflix. There are many channels as advertised, but many have terrible content and more commercials than if you were to watch it on regular tv. I can't say I'm really disappointed as what I was looking for, for the most part, was a Netflix player - It is great for that. As far as the rest of what it does, I'd give it a 4 out of 10.
Pros: Attractive Design, Great For Movies, Fast Setup
Cons: Freezes Up Often, No youtube

I was unable to stream video on my Smart TV using wifi. I tried a booster, but it still wouldn't work consistently. Once I got the Roku 3, the Internet problems disappeared. Love it!
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video

Setup was super easy. I even purchased the "wall" mount and have both Roku's hanging from the TV vents! (Yes, I have two!) Out of site, but certainly not out of mind. I love the options available with search on Roku. Only drawback, we need more CABLE based networks to begin channels on Roku.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: More Channels Needed, Channel

My experience with the Roku setup was seamless, and I was blown away by all the content it unlocked: Amazon Prime streaming video, HBO GO, even Pandora—all of which I already had but (apart from Pandora) hardly used. I added Netflix for a pittance. It's really scandalous for one device to unleash this much content for a flat fee of $100. Throughout the setup process, I kept asking myself, "Who *are* these guys?" The engineering, the user experience, the obviously first-rate bizdev to close all those content deals—this is what a world-class technology company looks like. I promptly recommended Roku to my mother (who's not a techie), and she bought one straightaway. Bravo.
