(Don't tell Apple, but my Son who has the Apple equivalent said the ROKU is better.)

After many years of giving my money to the Cable company I decided that it was time to make a change and it seemed that what was on the cable channels can easily be see on Netflix and Hulu Plus. I like the fact that it is wireless and HD. I haven't had an issue receiving a signal and the picturee is awesome... with many channels to watch... how can you go wrong. I also have a Roku XD on a rinky dink tv downstairs in the basement that works just as great as the roku 3.

Great product right out of the box! It does exactly what you want a streaming device to do for you. Extremely easy set up! I use this product primarily to stream Netflix shows. I like the fact that it uses the HDMI cable. I am a big techie and love gadgets, and this is one of the best.

Streaming quick and simple

Roku is quick and easy to set up. Everything works seamlessly and straight forward with ease. The remote use is quick to respond and simple to use. Picture quality is great with little if any streaming lag. Roku would have recieved 5 stars but the unit once in a while freezes and the only way to get any response is by unplugging the unit so that it may reboot. This takes about 5 minutes to reset/reboot. This is the only complaint I have about this little streaming wonder!! I also have Apple TV but selected Roku as well because Amazon streaming is supported on Roku but not on Apple TV.

Cons: Freeze Up On Occasion

Love it. Have used it with Vudu and so easy to use and enjoy, tried Vizio model prior to Roku and it was a nightmare. Took it back and got Roku. Going to get another one for bedroom tv.

I use Roku in the master bedroom and watch the channels instead of cable or DVR. With the high-speed wireless internet, my connections are fast and information retrieval is extremely fast. I have just learned that I can watch videos and view pictures from my Android Smartphone wirelessly through the Roku on my TV. I can adjust the channels and any music via the phone instead of the remote. Listening to the TV through the remote headphones makes for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Roku is the most simple and user friendly device and I would recommend this to everyone. It's great for the kids' rooms instead of paying for extra cable, DVR, as they can watch movies through the many options available in Roku.
