Love the Roku3! Tons of channels with lots and lots of free movies! I love that I can view my iPhone pics and with the Roku remote app I'm able to control the Roku3.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls

Its all we use

We use it exclusively. Has all the movies and shows we need to keep entertained. We used to watch TV through the xbox 360, but my wife (and I) much prefer the much easier to use remote. Plus there's no startup time since its always on. Now that we have a baby, the headphones that plug right into the remote are also super useful. And there's a few kid channels that my daughter loves. So we're all in as a family. I owned an older roku and upgraded to the newest one, so I guess I'm sold.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video

Good, but missing a couple of features

I use this primarily to watch netflix. It is small, easy to set up, and works well. Every once in a while, it disconnects from my wifi network, and I have to add the connection back. The headphones feature is great, especially if you are living with roommates.

Cons: Disconnect From Wifi Some, No Hdmi-cec Functionality, Cannot Adjust Audio Delay

Great tool to cut down your cable bill

I use Roku 3 to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime and MIT classes. It is simple to use, but battery life on the remote control is less than expected. Regardless of the con, I am happy with Roku 3.

Not as good as AppleTV

I bought this device mainly for Netflix and Plex use. I already have an AppleTV 3 and when coming from that device to this device it was a difficult transition and it did not meet my expectations. Netflix on the AppleTV had clearly laid out GUI and the same Interface here was not as nice. Plex on Android or IOS actually looked much nicer on other platforms. Not many 3rd party apps actually seemed that great. The remote control was easy to use was the only positive thing I can say about the device. I have sold it and sticking with AppleTV.

Cons: Not Impressed With Apps, Include More Built In App, Gui Could Be Better, 3rd Party Apps Poor
