We watch our tv's again!

We use it mostly to watch Netflix. We had all but stopped watching television because couldn't stand sitting through commercials. Now, we watch what we want, when we want and ENJOY ourselves. Love the Roku!

Remote is good. Esp headphone option. Nice to walk around due to wireless. The search is good, it covers several Main channels.
Pros: Remote, Attractive Design, Remote Head Phones, Simple Controls, Wireless Headphone, Pretty Good Channels, Good interface
Cons: Needs To Stick To Wall, Need Method Of Payment, Poor Wireless Internet, No youtube channel, Cant Adjust Vol W Remote, Need more free channels

Some Apps don't work

Cannot add HBO GO as an app with my Direct TV subscription and I cannot watch a few other apps because they just don't work

Great Product with one small exception

Overall a great product. However, it would be good if I could listen to music channels without having the TV on, which seems all I can do with the single HDMI output.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Large Channel Selection
Cons: Hdmi Only Output

I bought this product after trying out a competitor , I use it pretty much to play mkv movies on my projector. The only reason I was hesitant to buy this was because it only plays a few video formats. So I had to give up watching all the other videos I have for functiality. I just don't understand why they couldn't have made this play way more video formats, that's a big drawback in my eyes. Other then that its cool. Doesn't freeze up and plays the few video formats well .

Much better then the last generateration

The new roku's are great. The new software ui is great and everything is much much faster. The software that controls the drm over hdmi is overly finicky at the moment and I have to restart usually once a day but it's quick and not a deal breaker.

Love to watch movie and play game to relax. The controls easy to use and is compact. Should have one one page to access all searchs channels without hvaing to go to the web site on your computor for each one. They should bundle a few channels,or one flat rate, people stay home to save not spend more.
