Good but could be so much better.

It's fast and easy. The earbuds idea with the remote is awesome. I like that it's not infared. I don't like that Netflix is Title Search only. I called Netflix and they told me it was the ROKU software not Netflix. I would like to see more old TV shows and more classic "black & white" movie channels. Disappointed I couldn't find you-yube. Other than that, it's a good product that with a few minor improvements could be so much better.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Like The Earphones, Don't Have To Point It, It's Fast, Like The Radio Control, Set Was Easy
Cons: Like More Old Tv Channels, No Actor Search, Netflix Has Title Search, No U-tube Channel

HBO go does not work with DirecTV whic is an issue for me.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design

The new ROKU3 is pretty awesome. One APP that I am still waiting for as a default channel would be something to stream all my personal audio, video from my home library directly to ROKU3. I've found some 3rd party channels that work well but ROKU should have thier own in house solution... The only complication I've had is that the device will not retain it's wireless connection - after long sleep times, I always have to reconnect the wireless conneciton before doing anything else.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design
Cons: Wireless Dropouts

We use Roku at our summer home in a wilderness area where cable and over-the-air television is not available. It works great with a 1.5 meg DSL phone line. It is simple and wonderful!

I use this product to watch programs that I would not be able view otherwise. The advantage is not dealing with the laptop/HDMI cable hookup to your TV. You can watch your shows whilst working on said laptop. There is a bit of a lag when a show first starts streaming (slightly out of focus)however it passes within seconds. Multiple connections help out as well: micro USB, USB, etc. I hardwired mine to the router for speed/connectivity. Works great.

Great device. If Slingbox had support, it would be 5 stars.
