Great product

I use the unit as my primary source if TV content. With the addition of Playing channel, I get the majority if local shows that hulu does not show. I would like to see YouTube integrated though.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, A Lot Of Good Channels, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: No Direct Youtube Channel, No Web browser

The new roku seem more user friendly. The kids can navigate through the channels without my constant assistance ... I love that I can watch the shows that I like when ever I want. That is a big bonus sometimes it takes me two days to watch a one hour show.

I love my Roku box! My only gripe, and it's minor, is that the main channel selection screen begins to lag after leaving the box on for a long time. The only way I've found to get rid of the lag is to unplug the device and plug it back in. The apps never become laggy, so this is a very minor complaint. Also, Direct TV doesn't support HBO Go on Roku, which is a pain, but I have a feeling this is Direct TV's fault, not Roku's.
Pros: Great Remote, Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Great channel selection, Attractive Design
Cons: Becomes Laggy With Time, Low Quality Headphones

Best Roku Ever!

Roku x2 was my first purchase, had it for about a year and thought it was pretty good. Bought the 3 when it came out and it's AMAZING! It streams so much faster and smoother, hardly any buffering at all. Plus I watch it in the bedroom with the headphones when my wife is asleep in bed. Absolutely awesome!

Great Product. Very easy to use. Best feature this has over its competition is the ability to add other channels. These channels can be ones from other channel networks or channels other people made. This product runs very quiet and runs relitavely cool. I am looking at getting another one for a gift for my father who is also trying to cut the cord.

Best streaming box out there, period. Very responsive, quite a few channels to pick from (try hard to fix that YouTube dispute of yours, eh?). I absolutely love the earbuds in the remote feature, an absolute killer. Impressive little box. Excellent for when I go to the States (I do very often). Connection to the TV is an issue in hotels but not when visiting friends/family.

Some surprises - all good!

We added a new TV so we got the Roku 3 (we already have the Roku 2). Adding another Roku to our home network was easy (I wasn't sure it - or Netflix/Amazon/et al was going to support multiple devices). One feature I like is the ability to stream music, videos, and photos from my iPhone 5 using the free Roku app.
