We decided to try the Roku and get rid of our cable hookup, which I thought charged too much for channels we never watched. Signed up for Netflix and download from Amazon and the Roku has performed fantastically. I love that the Roku 3 has a headphone jack in the remote so that I can watch TV and not wake my husband. When I first set it up, the remote wouldn't connect to the unit so I emailed for help and got a reply right away. Took the advice and was up and running, so their customer service is great.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls

Roku 3 can be a great upgrade

The Roku 3 is very good with it's search feature and fast scanning. If the remote had not died shortly after the 90 day warranty, the headphones and volume control would have been great extras I would continue to have used. It was easy to pair an old roku remote for basic funtions with Roku3, but the new remote that died did not work with older Roku boxes.

There isn't much on tv so is wonderful to be able to have the ability to pull up something to watch. Love Pandora and Joyce Meyer channels!

Fastest Available Streaming Device

I have owned every roku player, and the roku 3 was no let down. It's easily 2 as fast as the roku 2 xs, and easily 3x faster than my ps3 when it comes to accessing amazon,netflix,vudu. If you're looking for the best available streaming device right now look no further.

I use the product to stream content through Amazon Prime. Programs sometime cut out during viewing. The screen will go blank for a few seconds and then come back on. Not sure if this is a streaming issue with prime or a wireless connection speed issue with the Roku.

Love the speed. No hiccups with watching/streaming movies. Best new feature is the headphone on the remote to give privacy to others.
