Nice access to streaming content, but buggy

Have had it for several weeks and for the most part I am very happy with it. It provides access to online streamed content very well. The interface is simple (although without a keyboard somewhat slow). My major complaint is that it hangs up at times. I will leave it for several hours and the unit will be working (the screen saver is running) but it will no longer respond to the remote. I power cycle the device and it works again. Pretty annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't say anything but the best out of this, having Plex installed on it just maximise the entire thing. Must have product!

Wonderful little device

We wanted to buy something inexpensive to play Netflix, Amazon streaming, Hulu, etc., on our bedroom TV. We have PS3 on our main TV that does this. The setup was a breeze. We are over 60, somewhat techie, but you certainly do not have to have much technical ability at all to get it going in a few minutes. It has excellent quality, very user friendly, so small that it can fit anywhere and the wireless remote with ear plugs is a fantastic feature. I wish my TV remote had this feature. We love the Roku. It is more than we expected!

I use only Hulu for my Tv viewing and I don't miss cable at all after a month.

I just bought the Rodu 3 last month. I had recently purchased a TV that was supposed to be a smart tv and found that even though it was able to get Netfilx, it would drop it several times in one night. In calling the Stereo Shop here in town, he recommended getting a Roku as he said the Roku has a much stronger signal. I haven't been dropped since and I am able to get Drama Fever which was not supported on my TV. I love it!

We love our Roku it was easy to setup and a great variety of channels. Having the head phone in the controller is a great option my wife use it all the time.

I originally purchased the XD model and recently purchased the 3 as an upgrade. I now have 3 of them in my home and I LOVE them. I cannot imagine life without the convenience of my Roku.
