I use it mostly for streaming but I'd like to have better options for playing files from my home networks and other devices, it's possible, but messy. I also have other streamers and players, but in some cases the only better is the interface design, apart from that Roku wins all, no comparison possible.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Lots of channels, Fast Setup, Attractive Design
Cons: Works Only Ok As Player

Dump cable/satellite and get your Roku now! You won't be sorry. My wife and I don't even miss all the garbage and commercials that cable had to offer. We choose what we want to watch, when we want to watch it. No DVr, no commercials.

We bought it to replace a cable box in a bedroom and we like it. I'm using Amazon Prime and Netflix now, but we will be buying at least one more to cut the cord in a vacation home that we have.

The Best There Is for Cord Cutters
