Perfect solution for your entertainment

I have been using the Roku3 now for just over a month and have been loving it. The interface if fast and easy to use, the network connectivity is flawless (at least via the cable), and there are a multitude of apps available. I love that I can get full 1080HD video (when available) which wasn't something i was able to do through a game console that also only offered substandard wifi connectivity. This is my first Roku so I do not know how it compares to other models with different processor options. I do know this one rocks even with it few cons. Cons: Occasionlly has frozen on me, the interfacew will function, yet just the interface. No video streams will play. Once I got a message 'HDCP Unathorized access, content disabled' (purple screeen). On the Roku forums I found the message indicates some sort of handshake issue. Both these above issues were fixed by unplugging the device and then plugging it back in.
Pros: Fast Setup, Large Online Community, Fast interface, High Quality Audiovideo, Simple Controls
Cons: Occasionally freezes, Should Have Reset Button

I would like to see more soccer games.I enjoy MLS soccer but would like to see Premier league soccer as well.

Best Media Streamer I have ever used

I have used at least 10 different media streamers, some were standalone some were built into DVD players some were game consoles. This is the best. Very fast interface. Supports more channels that you can add and delete as well as private 3rd party channels you can find on the internet. Can play audio thru remote control headphone jack for discrete listening. Just an awesome product.

We have totally ditched cable tv since we purchased the Roku 3!! We love instant access to Netflix, Vevo, and so much more! We really love the headphones that come with the remote! The kids LOVE playing Angry Birds and watching Angry Birds Toons.

It might not be Roku's fault, it may be the cable company. Whenever I try to pull up one of my channels I usually get a negative response "Cannot connect to your internet!"

The strangest thing about using a Roku3 streaming device is getting used to the inability of viewing -live- network shows. No longer do you wait for the 6 o'clock news, but you turn to individual segments of national news. No longer do you wait around for the 8 o'clock Tuesday show, but watch multiple episodes on Saturday evening. The price is much less expensive but it takes a different mindset to really enjoy the programming.
Pros: Simple Controls, Better than cable, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Lots of channels
Cons: Different Form Cable, No live channels
