I use my Roku box anytime I want to watch something so I definitely put it through its paces. Always has a strong wireless connection. Will occasionally freeze up but that may be on the part of the channel...5 stars. Never a problem. A free Hulu option would be great!

Cons: Occasionally Locks Up

I like the cell phone and tablet apps, but sometimes they are buggy. The earphone for the remote was pure genius. It would be better if it accessed youtube directly. The movie finder is good at finding movies I have to pay for; not so good at finding free ones.

Very good unit, could replace my cable

I originally got a Roku with the intention of replacing my cable TV. After a few months of having it, I still have my cable. But I think I'll be getting rid of it very shortly. I mainly watch TV series on the Roku and I also stream music on it. I'll also watch the occassional movie now & then and it does it all very well. The only complaint I have is that after a while, the main channel selector screen becomes choppy. When the Roku is first powered on, moving from channel to channel is very smooth. But for some reason after a while of it being on, moving from one channel to the next becomes rough and choppy. This can be fixed by unplugging it and plugging it back in. But it should not exhibit this at all. Hopefully a future firmware update will correct this. Overall it's a great device & I'm very glad I have it. I'll most likely be ditching my cable soon.

I had a Samsung Wifi Blu Ray player before this and needless to say, the Roku 3 is about 18 steps above the player. Though it does not play DVD's or Blu Ray disc, it is extremely fast in loading videos, movies, tv shows and never buffers while playing music (or anything else)!! I love this thing! It is very simple to set up. It also comes with a pair of headphones for those late night movie watchers who don't want to disturb their spouse with the gunshots and screaming in a movie! It is very small which means it is very discreet so you don't have some bulky player taking up a whole shelf of your tv stand. I still give this thing 5 stars but I did notice last night that the TMZ app would not work, however I'm not sure if that is a Roku thing or a TMZ thing.
Pros: Lighting Fast, Tons of channels, Attractive Design, Easy to use, Fast Setup, Simple Controls

I love how simple it is to use. I mostly use it for music listening on Pandora. One thing I do not like is that there are over 750 apps and YouTube is not one, which is very inconvenient.
