The Best Thing on TV

I use my Roku more than watching cable channels. Many websites that you can find channels that don't show up on screen called "private channels" and adult channels. Nice crisp picture. Nice games to play. Remote can be used with games, also small enough to put in pocket and wear headphones to listen to music channels.Word to wise, buy a micro SD card, you'll need one with as many available channels and games. Several friends have bought one because they have seen mine.
Pros: Updates On Its Own, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, New Channels Daily, Attractive Design, Adult Channels, Simple Controls, Tons of channels, Fun Games
Cons: Takes Time When Start-up

This is my second Roku, still have the other and put it to use on the TV in the living room. Have this on in my "man cave". Love the headphone jack as I can crank up the intensity without bothering the wife in the next room. Only one little anoying problem....sometime it doesn't load the next episode on completion of the one I have just watched (Netflix). Never had that problem with my older version.

Great streamer, but needs more channels

Works great in conjunction with streaming services like Hulu plus. It does not have enough Roku dedicated channels, the only ones I really like are PBS Kids (for the kids) and CNET. Oh, NBC News is impressive too!

Use this device mainly to stream media from my PC which acts as a gameing and media server. The little Roku works great for everything it needs to do with few acceptions. Menus are smooth and responsive, the remote feels good in your hand, the size of the unit it just right, it feels solid, and it plays any media I throw at it smoothly. I have only two complaints that keep it from being 5 stars. No Youtube. Apptle TV, anything iOS, anything Nintendo, and every other competitor has Youtube. Is it really that hard? The other would be no power button. My Roku often sits idle for weeks at a time so when I go to use it the menus have become unresponsive or simply wont work and I must unplug it from the wall to reset it. A power button on the remote would be awesome so it can be off and have a fresh boot when I want to watch something, keeping me from having to climb out of bed and hunt for the power outlet in the dark.

Cons: No Optical Out, No youtube, No power button

Hangs a lot!!

This device has potential but hangs a lot. Also, the HD Zoom option should be improved. I have PS3 and other Wi-Fi devices at home and some times I want to completely turn-off Roku to stop its "back end streaming" but the only way is by pulling the power cable. I wish the remote had a power off button. Still, it gives you bang for your buck!!

Cons: Can't Turn Off Remotely, Hangs
