EXCELLENT!!!

We bought this in September 2013 have had it for 2 months and are very happy with it.We are unable to get cable or satellite here the roku 3 is the best thing that has ever happen to us.We are able to keep up on the news and watch movies and new TV shows.We will be buying another Roku for the spare room soon.It's nice to have all my stations in on spot.

No More Expensive Cable TV Bills

In October 2013, I upgraded my streaming device to a Roku 3 after I had my Roku 2XS for a year. No more expensive cable bills. No more commercials. Pay only for content you want to watch for a customized entertainment experience. Enjoy the variety of special interest and niche programming. Freedom to explore, add, delete a multitude of genre channels. Watch and learn about other cultures by watching their programming and many have English subtitles I'm a very happy cable cord cutter!

Works great when it works. Trouble is....every time I go to use it there's no Wifi. It loses the wifi connction on a daily basis. It then takes lots of unplugs, resets, and fiddling with it to get it to reconnect. No other devices I have lose wifi so I'm sure it's a Roku problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing little device!

I was looking for a product to stream online media and attach to my Media PC. After reading all the reviews, I decided to pick up a Roku and I'm glad I did! The setup was extremely easy and everything works great. After about a week, I bought 2 more for the other TV's in my house and another for our cabin. Everyone needs one of these!

It's better than I expected, as I thought the only good channel available in Canada would be Netflix. However, there are many quite a numbers of other good ones. The unit is easy to set up, and works well. I'd give 5 stars, but it's too bad that YouTube is unavailable.

Got rid of cable, only use Roku 3 now

I love my Roku 3. I couldn't handle the payments of cable and I didn't really watch TV that much. Got the Roku 3, still get my news, my movies whenever I want via Netflix & Hulu, you can add your own private channels, and I even got more channels than I did when I had cable.

Easy and Functional to Use

This device was extremely simple to install and setup. It is easy to navigate and intuitively designed. The only reason why it isn't giving a 5 star rating by me is the lack of sports channels to pick from. MLS is awesome. NBA would be great if they didn't have black outs for every game that your home team plays due to contracts with national television networks. College football is the same.
