A Good Investment in Entertainment!

The Roku 3 is wonderful for catching up on series or episodes I've missed. Great for movies of course - that's the primary reason I bought it, but "catch up" for the series I love or wish I'd seen is enough reason in itself for buying this item. It's pretty easy to use, particularly if you keep the little instruction manual at hand until you get really used to using it. Don't rely strictly on your memory of what each button does; looking it up can prevent time wasted in frustration! I only wish the opening screen gave me a "genre list" so I could choose immediately what kind of programing I want to see. Otherwise this is a fabulous entertainment device and well worth the money.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design

I upgraded from the Roku XD-S and could not believe the performance difference on the Roku 3. The speed and smoothness are excellent and the Universal Search is brilliant. Thank you!

The main reason I upgraded to Roku 3: The ear buds so that I can listen late at night and not disturb my neighbors. Great feature.

Original motivation to purchase was so we could get Acorn on our TV, which it does a great job of, but now we use it for much more. It so nice to purchase a product that exceeds your expectations, and the Roku 3 does just that, It's great!

The design if the remote is flawed. The "ok" button should be located centrally within the navigation arrows, not below them. Otherwise, this is an excellent device, much improved from earlier models.
