No more paying for a cable box . I still have a cable box in my house and this is almost the same except{ no verizon app yet} . i enjoy it very much , great apps , easy set up.

Roku opened-up a/v options for summer TV enjoyment. The free downloads were disappointing (commercials, poor choices, clunky downloads, poor audio) Setup is very easy.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design
Cons: Low Quality Sound, Needs Optical Audio Outpu

Works basically as advertised. I've had it for one month and it's only frozen (requiring rebooting) once. A couple of times I almost gave up and ordered another digital cable/DVR box due to downtime (unavailable channel streaming), although, I believe these problems were caused by my cable carrier (Time Warner) rather than the Roku 3 box.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design

I have two Roku 3's. They both are excellent most of the time. There are times when they will freeze up and must have the power disconnected. When the power is restored they work fine. This happens once, sometimes twice a month. Even with this glitch they are well worth having. The audio from the remote works great.
Pros: Audio Remote, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Price
Cons: Freezes

I watch TV series and Movies daily with my Roku 3. The best and greatest feature is that I can put in my ear buds and watch late at night when the rest of the family is asleep and I never have to worry about waking my family while watching movies etc... As a matter of Fact I have 3 Roku's in my home.
