This Roku freezes up every week and I have to reset it by disconnecting the cable My old Roku never did this. The control remote doesn't work all the time either. What's wrong?

This little things really works well and we use it every day in place of a cable subscription. The only complaint we have is that the global search feature that allows you to search many channels at once for content frequently misses stuff. It's a great feature but perhaps the bugs aren't worked out. For some things it is still best to search on the channels themselves.

Cons: Global Search Inaccurate

The best box ever I use it to watch tv. The best things about it is that its fast but after opening all the apps it gets a little slow it just lags nothing too much. Juat had to unplug then plug it back in.

Best Technology in My Living Room

What makes the Roku so great is how easy it is to set up, and the quality of the design. Easy to operate and use, best media aggregation out there. For $100 you can't beat it. Support for Content delivery Network and content owner standard protocols like HLS over HTTP superb. Sound is great! The most mature architecture in the market today. Really needs DLNA support - so I can play my huge library of stored music off of a hard drive on my home network.
Pros: No Dlna, Streamed Audio Great, Simple to operate, Amazon Cloud Music Wow, Fast Setup, Easy to hook up, Has Most Online Content, New Partners Frequently
Cons: NO DLNA support

Will Never Go Back!

My son is always trying to keep my husband and I in the present century. Over the years he continually shows up with some new device that he wants us to try. He has already bought it for you, so what are you going to do! We LOVE the Roku 3 because it was so easy for us to learn how to use and then have access to an endless supply of movies and TV shows for so little money. If you are intimidated by technology as my husband is (he still won't use email) I promise if my husband can figure out how to use it, ANYONE can!
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, User friendly, Fast Setup

This product makes streaming movies and TV shows almost effortless. Love the selection of Classic Movies in Movie Vault. The remote app is great as well, strongly suggest you get that on your smartphone or tablet.

Who needs cable

This little box provides more channels and great content. It's a shame that some of the content providers just provide clips rather than full streams. And among the channels you do find some hidden gems in the public access area. Who knew Fitchburg MA had a great Saturday night horror show.
