Easy to use, and setup. My 6 year old can use it with no help. We have the all 4 now and the new one #3 with head phones needs batteries almost every day even we don't use it. The old models without this new feature work for months. The 3 also needs to be restarted often and that has never been a problem with the old ones. Still use it and tell others to try it. Just think the #3 needs to have some bugs worked out

I consider myself a casual electronics user and the Roku3 was to so easy set up. Instructions are very intuitive and I was picking my FREE television channels within 30 minutes. (I could have snuck this into the house without the hubby even knowing!) The Roku3 is very small and takes little room to connect. I liked it so much I purchased one for a friend.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Access Free Television, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design

My internet tends to drop out sometimes. When that happens, I have to unplug the roku to reset it and have it find my internet again. I wish there was a button on it so I didn't have to unplug it. That is a minor thing for me, though.

I use the ROKU mostly for Amazon Prime Movies right now but intend to add other sources and also games.
Pros: Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Easy to use, Attractive Design
Cons: Earphones Are Limiting

In a side by side comparison of a satellite broadcast program and the same program through Roku, the Roku version was poorer quality.

When my wife and I were evaluating how to trim our budget, the big-line item on the chopping block was our Cable TV. The Roku 3 allows us to do away with the expensive service and transition over to individual subscriptions like Netflix and Hulu. Sure, we can't watch anything as soon as it comes out but we are able to watch what we want when we want for a good price. We can always splurge on additional channels if we want. Been using Roku for over a year now and have never looked back.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Limited Sports Channels
