We've tried so many dvr's and different media-center setups over the years that my wife was justifiably dubious when the Roku arrived. It installed in minutes and it just worked. When my wife saw the super-simple remote, she was pretty much sold. After she used it the first time, she was hooked. Having Netflix, Amazon, Vudu and others available in a common and easy-to-use interface is perfect for us. I'm a pretty critical person but, especially considering the price, there are no major flaws in my eyes. Using RF for the remote was an excellent design choice.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup

Overall, I really like the Roku 3, seems to be like my 2 but faster. We use this in the bedroom so the headphone output on the remote could be really useful.
Pros: Simple Controls, Lots of channels, Fast Setup
Cons: No Showtime Anytime, Still No Youtube Channel

Excellent Ease of Use, A Bit "Fragile"

Very compact, excellent design. Simple controls are a pleasure, as is the private listening capability. Prone to occaisional loss of WiFi connectivity, and has frozen once a month requiring a simple reboot. Taken as a whole this is an excellent product with relatively minor glitches if one is technically adept. If not, those glitches may prove bothersome.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Broad Application Variety, Easy to use, Great value
Cons: Loses connectivity, Locks up at times

We've been very pleased with the ROKU 3 and because of it were able to cut our previous monthly cable bill by 80%. The set up and use are very easy and ROKU's done a great job making operation of their product simple for anyone. When the power goes out or Internet connection breaks - the ROKU unit needs to "reboot" which consists of unplugging it/waiting 10 seconds/plugging it back in. It doesn't get any more simple than that.

Simple yet buggy

The WiFi drops randomly the I have to go back through the songs to reconnect it. Just highly annoying. If the Roku could autoconnect to known WiFi networks I would give it 5-stars.
