I own the roku 2. After owning it for one week,I bought the roku 3 and moved the roku 2 into my bedroom. I couldn't be more satisfied with both of them. I barely watch regular tv anymore, there's just so much to choose from as to what to watch. I highly, highly recommend this system to everyone. I've given serious thought to give up cable. Buy it, you'll be glad you did.

Roku 3 the best yet!

I am the owner of 3 Roku players. The original Gen 1, a 2nd generation xd and most recently a Roku 3 which now does main duty on my primary man cave Sony. This is the best model to date, as far as speed, ease of use,and size are concerned. But i must also add that I have not any complaints with our other 2 Roku's including the original Gen 1 player which still serves us well. You really cannot go wrong with any of the Roku players, but i would definately consider the Roku 3 if you are a first time buyer considering a streaming player.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Very Fast Download
Cons: Non So Far

It was just so simple to set up and start using immediately. I had a previous experience with Netflix and hooked back up to watch all the movies I have time for!! I thought I was going to have to get an Xbox for streaming but this made it all possible in a few easy steps!!

The ROKU3 has become an important part of our video entertainment in our home. It's ease of use is very helpful, especially with the grandchildren. Should have had this, ROKU3, 20 years ago. I got the ROKU3 as a birthday gift, and it's been the best I've gotten in many years.

Nice but not consistant

The one idiosyncrasy of this device is that at times it seems to "disconnect". One time we had to go through the process of getting it to connect to the Internet again; another time, we just disconnected the Roku and then reconnected it. These fixes worked both times but they should not have happened in the first place.
