Better than any other streamer!

I have 2 Samsung bluray players, one with web browser... but neither compare to the ROKU when it comes to smooth, uninterrupted streaming. Lots of apps, no Youtube and there are a few others that aren't available but I can live with that, for now. My only issue is that there is no power on/off button. We have Clear Wire Internet and often we find the unit has turned off. That requires unplugging and plugging the unit back in... just to turn it on. Otherwise, we love the ROKU!!!!!
Pros: Fast Setup, Fast, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Needs onoff button

ROKU 3! Great Performance

I have DSL. Roku 3 works great if you have at least 10mbs. One small problem I had at first was that the DSL has a filter that you put on the line before you plug your Roku in. I removed it and the speed jumped up 10mbs. Problem solved.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup

So Easy To Use

This is so easy to set up and use. Brings you so much content that you will probably not have enough time to view it all. I primarily use it to watch movies and TV shows on Amazon Instant since I am a prime member. Fast loading and never a problem. A great device that everyone should have. I can see it replacing cable in many instances.

I use this for streaming Netflix, Crackle, PopCorn Flix but have to continually reconnect the WiFi connection while attempting to watch a movie. NOT A GOOD THING!
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Headphones Are Nice Opt
Cons: Does Not Improve Audio/Video, Does Not Perform As Well, Keeps Losing Wifi Connect

How TV should be

Overall the device is simple to set up and use. Just a couple plugs (HDMI and power) and you're off to the races. Connected to wireless internet connection is just as easy too. If there is one drawback it's from the service providers; and I would imagine this would become easier in the future. However, at this point if you find a channel that looks promising, you may run into a login and registration screen. To me, I'm not about running through that just to find yet another channel packed with old movies and shows; there was a reason they died out in the first place. The search function works well across the big providers: Netflix, Amazon, VUDU. I think one of the things I like best about this device is that I still finding new things months after my purchase. I have an AppleTV as well and that's pretty static even though its been rooted. The Roku has all sorts of channel programming packed into it, almost like a maze, when I turn the corner there's still more to discover! What's also cool is that I can easily pack it up and take it with me, room to room or state to state, being so small and easy to pack all you really need wherever you're going is an internet connection. Oh, and within a few hours of watching, totally spoiled us on regular TV, no commercials! Great product!

Best box out there but...

Wish you could stream without using plex. Automatic updates need to be an option, not automaticly on!!!! More games should use the gamepad instead of the poor wii type controls.
