Evolutionary Improvement

I loved my Roku 2, but the addition of the WiFi remote and the headphone jack on the remote control are genius. The box is now safely mounted behind the TV and I never have to adjust the angle of my remote to control the box. I frequently watch while using a treadmill and the noise made TV watching difficult, but now with my headphones mounted to the remote instead of tethered to the box that problem has been solved.
Pros: Simple Controls, Wifi Remote, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Remote Headphone Jack

Love Love Love this Product. The only complaint is that the channels could have a bit better slection f what to watch.

got a e-mail that I was suppost to get a free upgrade as I bought the Roku 2 in the right time to be eligible never received the 3 for free so I finally bought the Roku 3 for my second box

This Roku 3 with a faster processor is great. There is almost no lag time when connecting to sites. The new remote is not line of sight-it just works no matter if you have it pointed at the unit or just sitting in your lap. This makes it much easier to place the Roku 3 unit, you can put it out of sight if you want. I thought long and hard about replacing my Roku 1 because it still worked just fine. The Roku 3 is just so much advanced, I am glad I decided to buy it.

I got rid of my expensive cable a month ago. This is a great alternative. There are a couple of cable shows that I wish I could access through Roku. All in all, though, I am really enjoying watching shows I have never seen and re watching shows that I had previously enjoyed,
Pros: Picture Quality Is Great, Takes up little space, Simple Controls, Attractive Design
Cons: Lots Of Lousy Channels

Whether its Amazon or Hulu Plus or Netflix you can stop watching in one room and continue watching in another room. I cut the cord to Satellite Tv over 3 years ago and use a digital tuner with antenna for local channels and then use Roku for movies and Tv. The savings has been awesome and no more Satellite bill at all.

Cons: Reboot Necessary Sometime, System Needs Occasional

We use the Roku almost nightly,..since I installed it,it has worked flawlessly....Just make sure your high speed provider is good,....I don't suggest using the one that boasts about the "universe"......"tomcat" is awesome.....at least 20 mbps(That's what we have)...and a good (we have wireless) router...a truly funky and easy to operate system....we love it.
