I don't have cable, so access to Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc is important. This offers it all in one location with an easy to setup and use platform.

I bought this for my parents to replace the built-in tv netflix feature so they could have hulu on their television. They have had absolutely no problems with the Roku so far after 3 months.

awesome! make sure you adjust the visual controls to 1080p as it defaults to 720p. It definitely makes a difference.

Fast Response and Great Streaming

I was skeptical at first but fell in love with my Roku 3! Blazing fast over my older Roku and the built-in streaming services on Bly-ray players. I love new channels Rodu added to its line up. I missed watching British TV and now I can watch Sky News -- which streams very well (and looks better than the cable news channels I get from U-Verse). I hope Roku can add BBC TV (might pose a problem with Roku's contract with Sky News), DW TV (Germany) and CBC TV (Canadian Broadcast Corp.). CNN, Fox and MSNBC are all the same and useless. I stopped watching CNN. Thanks for adding Sky News. (I don't have money these days to travel so watching these international channels help me see the rest of the world on the cheap. LOL!). I'm getting another Roku for my other TV in the house. (I gave a Roku to my sister for a Christmas present.)
