So easy to set up. Replaced my HD Roku which I took to my beach house with the 3. The first thing I noticed was the amazing clarity when I turned on my tv. Much sharper picture on my 1080p tv than the old one. Didn't want to pay for cable at my beach house since I don't even have cable at home. I consider that a waste of money. Now I have plenty of tv entertainment at both locations. Love TED Talks as that is so informative and thought provoking. Can't stand the mindless "realty tv shows" so Roku is the only way to go as far as I am comncerned. Best money I ever spent. Unlimited entertainment for the price of one cable bill.
Pros: Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup

I use the Roku3 to watch what I want to watch. It was my first device of this kind and it works really, really well. Clearly, there's been a lot of thought put into the design and use of this product. The software and hardware work very well together to provide an enjoyable viewing experience.

I Would Like to Say I Love It...

This is my second ROKU. Most of the time I simply love my ROKU3. It usually works fine and I can watch the videos I love. I don't much care for the 'free' channels - I hate commercials which is why I got a ROKU in the first place. I would rather pay to not have them, but then again 10 to 25 dollars a MONTH is MUCH, MUCH too expensive! Give me a small one-time fee and I would be a LOT happier! I really like a piece of equipment that once set up you can forget about it because it is doing it's job. I can't ever forget the ROKU3, because it doesn't always work that well.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design
Cons: Appears To Work Sometimes, NEEDS AN OFF SWITCH, Have To Restart Regularly

The Roku provides an easy way to control Netflix and like services. Also allows for captioning.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Easy to use
Cons: No Android Mirror App, No youtube, Many Worthless Apps

Great streaming device

I purchased one of the original Roku players when they were first introduced on the market. I loved it but the new one has much faster downloading capabilities. No more repeated stopping to load. I use it for movies and TV episodes that I miss and are not available On Demand from my cable company.

There is nothing I would do to inprove roku I got this to let cable go I am so glad that i did I am no longer paying for channels that I don't want

I think it's amazing to have usb and hdmi outputs.I use it a lot to watch you tube. A dedicated YouTube app will be helpful.
