We use it on our primary TV. We don't have cable, just antenna TV and Roku. We watch: PBS Kids, PBS, MLB channel, Smithsonian Channel,KBYU, Fox News specials, NASA and PlaySportsTV. CON: The free movie channels have some strong R content, the only way to block that content is to unsubscribe. With young kids, it would be nice to subscribe and block.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Choose Your Own Channels, Fast Setup, Simple Controls

The set up was very easy, the player was more than I expected with the content, not just movies but music, the Tune In radio app. is my most used app. The player is a must have. WHO NEEDS CABLE !!

Instant ANYTHING TV!

I use it to see the NEWS, MOVIES. I can watch the stories on the news that I want to watch and skip all the junk. If you have Amazon Prime there's a whole world of movies out there for you for free. I have had some trouble getting the remote to PAIR(connect) to the unit. Guess what? There's an app for your smartphone, remote on a phone.

Cons: Remote Needs Strong Batt

So much better than connecting the computer to TV to watch Netflix. Save so much money buy dropping cable too. Great for kids because we can find their shows and mainly commercial free.

Fuzzy FRASIER reruns!

Netflix is our entertainment exclusively now. We no longer watch normal, broadcast tv. We love the Roku variety and independent productions like "House of Cards." We wish there was a way to filter out all the horrible third world movies that clog the listed offerings. When you run the Frasier reruns, they are blurry. That never happened with the old Roku. There is a defect in the movement of the highlighted square as it moves from channel to channel when you cruise through "My Channels." That doesn't seem right.
Cons: Does Not Improve Audio/Video
