Great for Netflix, Amazon, PBS, Acorn and the Smithsonian Channels. It's great for the increasing number of channels that deliver live streaming over their Roku channel; I'm looking forward to more of those in news and sports.

The only thing I would recommend is to have the RCA outputs for those of us that still need them for our older audio receivers. I have a Bose Lifestyle system that still works great and refuse to replace it until it no longer produces amazing sound quality. So I have to use my TV speakers to listen to sound from the Roku 3. Everything else is better than my first Roku player. I probably should have purchased the Roku 2 instead though.

Cons: No Rca Outputs

Awesomeness Comes In A Small Package

I love this little black box. My entire family uses this device for music (Pandora, Live365), streaming Radio (TuneIn), and of course movies and shows (Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Ted Talks, Smithsonian Channel, SyFy Channel, WSJ Live, White House and other streams, and on and on). I am a huge user of the wireless audio built into the handset/remote. When the kids and wife are asleep, I plug in my headphones and enjoy nighttime nirvana. It's fantastic. No more sitting close to the TV or struggling to hear the audio, rewinding over and over to catch that missed fragment. I love it! The interface is quick and smooth, the box is so small I mounted it out of the way on the back of my TV with a simple, inexpensive mount I bought off the Internet, and there is so much content to enjoy for free - though when I purchased this, we already had memberships at NetFlix and Amazon. I don't have any complaints. Roku knows what they are doing and provide the best streaming experience money can buy.

Mostly use the Roku to stream Netflix. Fast and easy!! Also like to search for movies to rent on Amazon. Also fast and easy! You can't go wrong adding a Roku to your TV.

product is used by my dad who enjoys the religious content. i enjoy it for the sports coverage it offers. perhaps in the future you will include the national football package.

Expected more features after several years with original Roku. Seems to be little improvement for watching Netflix streaming content. Have had to reboot by removing power cord when unit froze up and could not use.

Until ten minutes ago I would have given this a five star rating. Just turned it on, the screen appears, and nothing happens! It's not the remote; I changed the battery.! Now I have to go online and trouble shoot, not what I want to be doing on a Saturday evening
