Beats the heck out of paying for Cable and I love the extensive variety. There is something for everyone. I needed tech support and ROKU was first class! Don't buy any other competitive device!

Who needs the "Networks" ??

If you are tired of all the network TV hype and just want to watch what you want to watch -- ROKU is the answer. Simple to use, works on any modern computer accessable system. I had a ROKU 2 - loved it. #3 is BETTER !!

Purchased this to replace my video game consoles for Netflix, HBO-Go, HuluPlus, AmazonInstantVideo, and general YouTube searches when entertaining guests. For $100 plus tax, I got myself out of a $60 subscription fee required by my consoles for HBO-Go usage and provided my girlfriend an easier interface for watching all of our streaming services in one place. I was immediately impressed by how well this tiny device handles 1080p streaming; keeping in mind that I specifically got the Roku3 in order to hardwire it into my network. If you are someone who frequents the above mentioned services, this device is perfect for you. It's also easy to take with you when traveling, since it's so compact. 4 out of 5 stars because it doesn't cook my breakfast and I want the designers to continue to wow me.

Roku wins again

After being told about the Roku we decided to add it along with the Apple TV against comments on different forums. Bought the Roku3 and liked it so darned much we now have 2, yes - two Roku3's. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. Took one on a mini vacation and used it in a condo in Melbourne, Fl recently. We use it a lot and enjoy the ultra fast streaming.

I bought this to replace D****TV which was costing us $1**/mo. I bought the Roku 3 and after plugging it in to my router with an ethernet cable, the Roku network came up immediately on my TV. I subscribed to Netflix and Hulu Plus and I have access to all my old TV shows except "Survivor," "The Good Wife" and Jeopardy. I watch the first two on the web and I can live without Jeopardy. As long as the internet works, the Roku works.
Pros: Simple Controls, ALWAYS WORKS, Easy setup

I want airplay!!!

Overall I like it, but Roku does not have airplay, which is a big lose in current market. Google's chromecast has lower price but can do airplay. So please add airplay feature to Roku ASAP!
